XCIPTV Player is one of the most reliable and user-friendly IPTV applications available for Android TV, Amazon Firestick, Google TV, and Android mobile devices. Featuring built-in ExoPlayer and VLC Player engines, a sleek dashboard, and native EPG support, XCIPTV delivers smooth playback without requiring complex configuration.
Unlike Smart TV applications that rely on external MAC address web portals, XCIPTV allows you to log in directly on your device using your Xtream Codes API credentials or an M3U Playlist URL.
What You Need Before Starting
Before setting up XCIPTV, ensure you have the following ready:
- Installed XCIPTV App: Downloaded on your streaming device.
- IPTV Credentials: Provided by your IPTV service provider:
- Xtream Codes API: Server URL, Username, and Password (Recommended).
- M3U Playlist URL: Full M3U link containing your channel list.
Tip: If your provider only sent you a single long M3U link and you need to log in using Xtream Codes, read our tutorial onhow to find server address in M3U URLto extract your exact Server URL, Username, and Password in seconds.
Step 1: Install XCIPTV on Your Device
Depending on your streaming device, install XCIPTV using the appropriate app store or sideloading tool:
- Android TV / Google TV: Open Google Play Store > Search XCIPTV Player > Select Install.
- Amazon Firestick: Open the Downloader app > Enter the XCIPTV APK download code/link > Select Install.
- Android Phones / Tablets: Download XCIPTV Player directly from the Google Play Store.
Step 2: Log In Using Xtream Codes API (Recommended)
Using Xtream Codes API is the fastest and most stable method to load your streams and Electronic Program Guide (EPG).
1.Open XCIPTV Player:Launch application.
Launch the XCIPTV app on your TV or device. The home screen will automatically display the main login prompt.
2.Input Xtream Codes Credentials:Enter connection details.

- Password: Enter your subscription password.
3.Click ‘Sign In’:Authenticate connection.
Click the Sign In button. XCIPTV will authenticate your account details and begin downloading your channels, VOD movies, TV series, and EPG data.
Alternative Method: Log In Using M3U Playlist URL
If your IPTV provider did not give you Xtream Codes API credentials, you can log in using an M3U playlist link:
1.Switch to M3U Login Mode:Access alternative login.
On the main login screen, select M3U Playlist or tap Settings in the corner to switch login methods.
2.Input M3U URL:Enter playlist link.
Enter a name for your playlist (e.g., My IPTV) and paste or type your full M3U URL.
3.Click ‘Sign In’ or ‘Import’:Import stream details.
Click Sign In. The app will parse the M3U link and build your Live TV and VOD listings.
If you ever need to break down your M3U link into individual Xtream Codes parameters, check out our guide on how to find server address in M3U URL.
Step 3: Optimize Playback & Player Settings
To ensure the best streaming experience and eliminate audio or video delays in XCIPTV:
- On the XCIPTV home dashboard, click the Settings gear icon in the top-right corner.
- Select Player Settings.
- Set Player Type for Live TV and VOD to ExoPlayer (or switch to VLC Player if you experience video stuttering).
- Go to Stream Format and select HLS or TS depending on which format plays faster on your internet connection.
- Save settings and return to the main dashboard.
